’90s Nostalgia This Weekend At Meskwaki

I wish I had heard about this sooner!

A trio of hit '90s bands is Spinning through Iowa this weekend, at Meskwaki Casino & Hotel in Tama. If you grew up in that era, you're going to love this.

It's a three-piece bill featuring Spin Doctors, Crash Test Dummies and The Verve Pipe this Saturday night, July 6 at 8 p.m.!

All the buzz has been around a certain other concert, so maybe that's why this one flew under the radar. Reserved seats are still available, so if you're looking for something to do over your 4th of July weekend, tickets are only $27-$32. Hit the Meskwaki website for more information. I was a big fan of the Spin Doctors, who had the great tunes like "Two Princes" and "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong".

The other two acts weren't quite as hot, but their music was just as unforgettable, like The Verve Pipe's "The Freshmen", and the legendary Crash Test Dummies classic with easily one of the catchiest titles ever:
