The day we wait all year for is finally happening TOMORROW!  Yes, the wild Cedar Rapids celebration of St. Patrick's Day, easily the best celebration in the state. It's all thanks to the SaPaDaPaSo committee. So here's what you need to know.

The parade route is the same as year's past, aka the "Traditional Route", meaning we head across 6th Street, down 2nd Ave, across 2nd Street, then back up 3rd Ave, ending at Greene Square Park.

The parade steps off at 1 pm, and will last at least an hour or so, as normal.

If you're coming downtown to park, there'll be plenty of spaces, but it's highly recommended you arrive early. Parking for the Five Seasons and Convention Center Ramps will cost $5.00 for the day, and all other facilities will cost $2.00 for the day. As a friendly reminder there will be no on-street parking allowed along the parade route from 12:00 PM until the end of the parade (approximately 2:30 – 3:00 PM).  All vehicles remaining on-street along the parade route at 12:00 PM will be subject to tow at the owner’s expense.
