If you're a fan of pizza, you'll definitely want to check out the world's largest slice which is served at a restaurant in Illinois.

Illinois Is Home To The World's Largest Slice Of Pizza

For as long as I can remember, pizza has been my favorite food. I grew up in the Chicago suburbs so there were many mom-and-pop pizza joints a short bike ride away from my parent's house. They offered a slice and drink special for just a couple of bucks.

My friends and I would hit those all the time. We knew which places had the tastiest pizza for the cheapest deal. There were a couple of places that had slices that were so big it was like a third of the pizza. Of course, they bragged about having the biggest.

Unfortunately, most of those places are gone now. In fact, it's hard to even find a pizza joint that serves slices let alone having one of those lunch deals. The last time I went into the burbs to see my mom, I was searching to see if there were any by her house.

I was pleasantly surprised to not only find a pizza joint that serves slices but they claim to have the world's largest slices. I'm definitely going to have to check this place out sometime soon. This thing is so big, it's only offered for dine-in only.

The place is called Nonna's Good Life Pizza For All. They have three locations in LaGrange, Crestwood, and Oak Lawn. That record-breaking slice is 63 square inches. That's a lot of pizza. By the way, they also serve a 468-square-inch stadium pizza. I would call that massive.

Of course, they have an eating challenge. If you can put down two of those record-breaking slices in thirty minutes you'll win the championship t-shirt. I don't know if I could eat that much pizza but it would be fun trying.
