Police in Houston are searching for a man suspected in a dramatic dog-napping and assault.

On November 4th, a couple entered the Bully Kamp pet store to purchase a puppy that was priced at $10,000.

Employee Alize James went upstairs to grab some paperwork for a nearby UPS driver, and the couple ran out of the store with the dog.

Surveillance cameras caught the couple leaving, and James running after them. She said her only concern at the moment was the 7-month-old dog, who just had a surgery and needed special medication.

"My mind is focused on her health, I obviously didn't care about my well-being," James said.

James chased the car, demanding they give the dog back, but instead they hit her with the car and threatened to run her over.
