A woman from Mesa, Arizona is behind bars after she ran from police who tried to pull her over after she was seen speeding.

Hannah Clevenger was observed driving over 70mph, weaving in and out of her lane and even splitting the lane with her car on Tuesday afternoon.

An officer pulled up behind her and turned on his lights. The officer stated that Clevenger looked at him through the driver's side mirror, but continue on, even after he turned on his siren.

Eventually, she reached a red light, where she finally stopped. The officer approached her vehicle to speak with her, but she just stared without saying a word before tearing off when the light turned green.

Clevenger was found at her home the next day by the same officer, who she said she recognized from the day before. She told the officer her reason for running was because she "felt like it was the right thing to do."

Hannah Clevenger is charged with unlawful flight from law enforcement, which is a Class 5 felony.
