Wisconsin Man Steals a Squad Car, Not Once But Twice! (Video)
A Wisconsin man "attempted" to steal a squad car...Not once but twice. Imagine being in that mindset, I'll just jump in the driver's seat of that cop car and take off. You have to know that you're going to get caught...right? Here you are DRIVING A COP CAR, there's zero chance you are getting away...So do it...twice?
Daniel Barton, 34 once stole a cop car and then was caught. The 2nd time he attempted this, he was caught again. But the 2nd time it was captured on film...sort of.
Milwaukee Police Dept made a routine traffic stop, and during this stop one of the officer's cars vanished. The body cam the situation and the "omg what just happened" look, all caught on film:
The officer's response was explicit, to the point, and probably what ANY person would say:
"WTF!?!"
A traffic stop...the squad car is unlocked and running as the officer is speaking to the individual that he just pulled over. That all seems normal, right? By the looks of this, Daniel Barton had to have been nearby simply ready to make his move...and attempt to steal a SECOND squad car!
The stolen police car was found blocks away with nobody inside. Daniel Barton took his joyride and then parked it, and took off running. Ten minutes later, the suspect Daniel Barton was found hiding inside a local gym.
