For a lot of families, Christmas is going to look a little different this year. Large gatherings are strongly discouraged thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, so there's a good chance you won't be able to see all of your loved ones this holiday season. Luckily, there are still plenty of ways you can spread a little holiday cheer from a distance!

If you're planning on mailing out Christmas gifts to your loved ones this year, the United States Postal Service has released a list of dates that you will have to send your packages out by so that they can arrive in time for the holiday. According to a new article from CBS 2, domestic packages need to be sent out by Tuesday, December 15th, first-class mail has to be mailed by Friday, December 18th, the deadline for priority mail is Saturday, December 19th, and express delivery packages have to go out by Wednesday, December 23rd. Obviously, the earlier you can send things out, the better.

When I'm looking for gifts for friends or family that I know I'm not going to see, I like to do all my shopping online and then just have it mailed directly to them. It may not be as nicely wrapped as it would be if I were to do it myself and then drop it at the post office, but hey, it's the thought that counts, right? During the holidays, some sites will wrap the items up nice for you if you pay a little extra. I'm just too cheap for that.

Don't forget to get those gifts sent out on time! Happy shopping!
