My co-workers and I had a REALLY fun discussion this morning based on this article.

In a nutshell, it outlines advice from a 50-year-old to today's 20-year-olds. We took a few callers who all gave us answers pertaining to better money management and financial matters. That didn't necessarily resonate with us in the radio industry, who have been doomed from the start already. Definitely important but it got us talking.

I thought for a second before I came up with my answer: what would I tell my 20-year-old self if I could go back to that time? Besides getting a more secure job that pays better (even though I LOVE radio), I would have told myself at the time to act more like I was 20, socially and otherwise,  to live it up and enjoy life a lot more when I was younger so I wouldn't be trying to catch up now. Because sometimes, it just does not go well these days when I do. I think you see where I am going with this.

So let's hear from you: what advice would you give YOUR younger self if you could?

Meanwhile, I'm off to take a nap before the early bird dinner special at Perkins.
