Uptown Friday Nights Return

Uptown Friday Nights are back at the McGrath Amphitheater, starting Friday May 19th!

This is a great local hang with live music food and adult beverages (it's 21+ only) and it happens to be smack dab downtown on the banks of the Cedar River, which makes it even cooler.

The bands performing range from rock, country, R&B and pop. The diversity of music always makes it a great place to spend some time with old friends - and maybe make some new friends and acquaintances.

This year's artist line up includes returning favorites Slap 'N Tickle, Alisabeth Von Presley, The Pork Tornadoes and 8 Seconds.

Admission is a cheap $5, and the selection of food (pizza, brats, nachos, subs) is low priced, tasty and plentiful. Drinks include a wide variety of beers, soda, water and several types of wine to keep you happy.

It's all presented by the Cedar Rapids Jaycees, and they do an incredible job every year.

So get out and enjoy live music under the sun and stars at McGrath Amphitheater at Uptown Friday Nights.
