The University of Iowa is auditioning for its upcoming Spring 2018 season, and is inviting both non-theatre majors and the general public to participate in the productions.

The auditions start on Friday, Nov 10.

These auditions are an excellent opportunity to learn more about UI Theatre and to perform in Mainstage, Gallery, and Workshop productions, as well as staged readings.

General Auditions
Friday, November 10 – 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, November 11 – 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Callbacks
Sunday, November 12 through Thursday, November 16

Casting will be announced on Friday, November 17 with some shows beginning rehearsal on Monday, November 27.

General auditions are held in the David Thayer Theatre, located in the UI Theatre Building located at 200 N. Riverside Drive, Iowa City. There will be a registration table in the Theatre Building lobby. Beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, November 6 you may sign up for an audition slot.
