Thew Brewery Owner To Appear On KRNA Morning Show

In case you haven't heard, there's some controversy going on at a local brewery in Cedar Rapids.

Thew Brewing, located at 301 2nd Avenue SW, is hosting a "Drag show Bingo" night. The event will raise money for Tanager Place's LGBTQ center.

The last time they had a show like this it raised $1,500 for Tanager. So, what seems to be the problem here?

Well, when word of the event got out, Thew's social media pages were flooded with bad reviews and negative comments. Owner Haley Flenker told me the messages were very hateful. This morning Haley will get to tell her story.
