I vividly remember unraveling a yellow Slip 'N Slide when I was a kid, hosing it down with freezing cold water, and counting my steps back to what seemed like a good mile to hopefully build up enough speed to cover the length of the slide. But there would always be a stick or rock that was hiding underneath the Slip 'N Slide and my attempt at a new speed record would end up with me crying to my mom about how "I hate the Slip 'N Slide."

But this gigantic Slip 'N Slide in Pennsylvania is located on a giant rock...a mountain to be exact.

Slide the Slopes is the world’s largest inflatable Slip ‘N Slide Tubing Course, featuring over 8,00 feet (1.5 miles) of water slides on over 20 courses. It opened last Friday, July 16, and will remain open through Labor Day weekend.

It’s located on one of Pennsylvania’s largest mountains at Bear Creek Mountain Ski Resort. The mountain has a peak elevation of 1,100 feet – and yes, you’ll get access to the ski lift to the start of the Slip ‘N Slide.

‘Slide the Slopes’ requires all riders to be at least 4 years old and 48” tall. For insurance purposes, riders cannot weigh more than 350 lbs.

Ticket prices range from $26.99 - $34.99.

Top 10 Fantastic Breweries in the Cedar Valley & Northeast Iowa - List

It's a quote that rings true, "Local Beer is Better". Why? Because you're supporting your friends and neighbors. Heck, you might even personally know the brewmaster of your favorite local beer. How cool is that? The "dive bar" down on the corner might have it's own place in society, but they're quickly being replaced by local breweries with unique themes and spacious taprooms. On top of that, they take the joy of beer to the next level, with some really good (and sometimes award-winning) beer! Scroll down for our virtual brewery tour.
