The State Of Iowa Might Owe You Some Cash!

It's that time of year again, it's time for The Great Iowa Treasure Hunt! If you've never heard of this before, let me tell you how it works. You may have some extra money coming your way very soon.

According to www.greatiowatreasurehunt.gov, "Each year, millions of dollars are turned over to the Iowa Treasure's office as lost or abandoned. The Great Iowa Treasure Hunt began in 1983 to help reunite Iowans with their lost property. Since then, their office has returned over $200 million to more then 500,000 people."

If you have money coming to you, your name is on the Great Treasure Hunt list that was printed in Monday's Cedar Rapids Gazette. Just like every year, my name wasn't on the list. I did see several of my friends on the list, so it's worth checking to see if you have some cash coming to you. I hope I have better luck next year.
