The Most Popular Christmas Cookies in the Midwest

It's finally Christmas cookie season!

Today I had my very first Christmas cookie of 2019, and it happened to be my absolute FAVORITE: Peanut Butter Blossoms (aka Hersey Kiss Cookies). Unfortunately, they were not chosen as the most popular Christmas cookie in the state of Iowa.

A new study from General Mills shows the most popular Christmas cookies in 2019 in all 50 states. They got their results by looking at the most clicked-on cookie recipes from Bettycrocker.com, Pillsbury.com, and Tablespoon.com. The number one cookie in Iowa is actually one I've never heard of before: Swedish Kringla. You can check out a recipe for Swedish Kringla from Pillsbury HERE.
