Did we eat the healthiest food last week? No. Was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY.

Cedar Rapids Restaurant Week officially wrapped up yesterday, which means that I went out to eat way more than usual these past ten days. It was for a good reason, though! I just really wanted to show my support to some amazing local restaurants (and obviously eat some delicious food in return). I'm happy to report that I hit up four "official" restaurant week stops, plus two additional Cedar Rapids eateries. You are cordially invited to join me on a tour of all the food that my friends and I ate last week. Come along!

On Friday, February 18th, some coworkers and I kicked off Cedar Rapids Restaurant Week at Pub 217. We shared the spinach artichoke dip as our appetizer, and then I ordered nachos as my meal (because DUH).

The next night, we celebrated my good friend's birthday inside of an igloo at LP Street Food. We enjoyed the Drunk Punch Fountain and an ENORMOUS charcuterie board!

Last Wednesday the 23rd, a couple of friends and I did dinner at the Pedaler's Fork. We started with the Strawberry Mango Shandy and Sutliff Samba cocktails, and then ordered the traditional nachos. I also got to try a piece of the Candied Pork Belly, which was SO freaking good. For my meal, I got the smoked cheddar mac & cheese.

On Saturday night, my friends and I wrapped things up at La Cantina. The Restaurant Week menu had a margarita flight AND a queso flight! It was a no brainer.
