That New Seafood Restaurant in Cedar Rapids is Now Open [PHOTOS]

There's a new seafood option here in the Corridor! As of October 26th, Crab House Seafood Boil & Bar is now open over in the Westdale Town Center!

We first told you about Crab House back in mid-August when signage went up over at 2360 Edgewood Road SW. The 2,400-square-foot restaurant can seat around 70 people inside, but there's room for an additional 20 to 25 people on the outdoor patio when the weather is nice. The eatery specializes in Cajun-style seafood.

The menu at Crab House is now available on their website, and it features a variety of different seafood options. Items include shrimp, crawfish, mussels, clams, lobster, snow crab, oysters, and more. They also offer Gator Bites, if you're feeling adventurous! Some of the non-seafood menu items include pork sausage, honey garlic or spicy mayo wings, salads, and chicken tenders. And don't forget drinks! In addition to beer, wine, and seltzers, they also serve saki, soju, margaritas, mojitos, and other cocktails. You can check out the full menu online HERE.

After Thursday's grand opening, Crab House posted a message to customers thanking them for their patience. The Facebook post reads:

"Thank you so much to everyone that came out to support us on our first day. Our sincerest apologies for the long wait time — we will be working to provide a smoother and better experience for your next visit. We hope to provide a better dining experience on your next visit thank you for your patience and understanding."

Crab House Seafood Boil & Bar's hours are:

• Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Friday & Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
