But are there even any left in Iowa to close?
TGI Fridays in Iowa
There are 161 in the United States as of last month, with more closing soon.
But any in Iowa?
The short answer is no. There won't be any TGI Fridays locations closing in the Hawkeye State because, well, they all already have closed.
Now, Iowa has not always been a vast wasteland for TGI Fridays. A TGI Fridays location once called West Des Moines home. It was 3340 Westown Pkwy but has been closed for a long time.
Any others? Well, in 2020, it was reported that Davenport was getting a TGI Fridays location. Whether they ever did and it closed, I'm not sure.

We're going to have to hit the road it seems...
Wanna Go to Fridays? Hit the Road, Jack!
They say it's always Friday at TGI Fridays. If you need that in your life, better prep for a road trip! You won't have to pack a sleeping bag, however.
Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Missouri all have locations.
I'm not sure how many die-hard Fridays fans are left out there, but if you're one, you might want to visit soon. They could be closed before you know it.
Chains can be good at times, but always best to check out the local options we have in our backyard!
