Teen Robbed At Knifepoint In Cedar Rapids

According to the Cedar Rapids Gazette, "A male teenager was arrested Tuesday after robbing a 13-year-old girl at knifepoint in Cedar Rapids."

The incident happened on Tuesday, September 24th in the 1300 block of Hinkley Avenue Northwest in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A suspect with the name Muzuri Yenge was one of two people who robbed a young girl by knifepoint.

Yenge and an accomplice took the girls cellphone and fled in a vehicle. Police later found the vehicle and went on a foot chase when Yenge tried to run from the scene.

Police caught Yenge and he faces charges of first-degree robbery and interference with official acts. We will continue to follow this story and provide updates as soon as we learn more information.
