The Stone Temple Pilots have launched a search for a new singer and guitarist Dean DeLeo discusses the undertaking as well as the death of Scott Weiland.
The remaining three members said, “No one will ever ‘replace’ Scott. The intent is for Stone Temple Pilots to continue on, to evolve and to do what we do… make music!"
The surviving three members of the band listen to "Atlanta" from their 1999 album 'No. 4,' which bassist Robert DeLeo says represents when "Scott was truly at his best."
Aaron Lewis of Staind, Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme and Brent Smith and Zach Myers of Shinedown all performed separate acoustic covers of Stone Temple Pilots hits.
Two nights before Scott Weiland was found dead on his tour bus in Minnesota, he spoke with Toronto based outlet Live in Limbo, which appears to be his final interview caught on video.
