Jane's Addiction

Before hair bands were wiped out by grunge there was a Los Angeles band that burned very bright for a few incredible years. They had the hard-rock chops of alot of the rest of the guitar-riffing bands, but they were better in many ways. The 1988 and 1990 record releases from Janes' Addiction turned the rock world upside down...

Daytime temperatures hit 111 degrees, Nine Inch Nails played a one-and-a-half minute set and Jane's Addiction got into a fistfight on stage. It's July 18, 1991.

In the midst of the hair metal era, Jane's took to the Sunset Strip to record their live debut.
