Spare Time Entertainment Announces Their Opening Day [GALLERY]

For those of you who are curious just what lies inside the new Spare Time Entertainment in Cedar Rapids, your wait is almost over! The new facility has just announced that it will be opening up to the public this week!

For those unsure of where Spare Time Entertainment is located, the business took over the former Gordman's building at 4601 First Ave. SE in Cedar Rapids. Gordman's closed that store in September of 2020 as the company ceased operations nationwide. Enter Spare Time Entertainment, based out of Vermont. The company promised a facility that would feature games, bowling, bars, restaurants, and more! Whether you are on a date, celebrating a child's birthday, or just out to eat with friends, the facility aimed to be something that everyone could come and enjoy!

Needless to say that the building had to undergo major renovations. You won't believe what this building looks like on the inside now! Check out some new previews of the games and areas you'll be able to soon visit at Spare Time Entertainment!

The good news is that you can check out Spare Time Entertainment for yourself this week! The building will open up to the public on Wednesday, February 16th at noon! You can play laser tag, arcade games, bowl, dine on some pizza, and have an amazing time! I can't wait to go play!
