Solid Weekend For RoughRiders

The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders are atop the USHL with only 6 games remaining.  The Riders are on pace to win the Anderson Cup, which goes to the League's regular season champion.  Here's a look at the up-to-date standings...

The RoughRiders captured a huge victory on Friday night (3/18) at The Stable, scoring two 3rd period goals to defeat Dubuque, 2-1.  The Riders then traveled to Green Bay for back-to-back games against the Gamblers.  The Riders fell in overtime on Saturday (3/19), 3-2.  They capped the weekend with a 2-1 victory on Sunday afternoon (3/20).  That means the Riders took 5 out of a possible 6 points over the weekend against two upper-echelon teams.

With only 2 more regular season home games on the schedule, make it a point to get to The Stable to support the RoughRiders!  In mid-April, it's Clark Cup Playoffs time!
