According to KCRG, "A small airplane crash in Elkader resulted in no injuries to the pilot, officials announced Sunday."

The incident happened at the Elkader Airport on Thursday, June 20th at 11:08 a.m. Mark William Koehn was flying the plane, and there were no passengers with him. He crashed the aircraft attempting to land the aircraft.

Koehn was flying a 1966 single-engine Cessna. No word on what caused the crash, but we do know Koehn was not injured and he exited the plane on his own.

Local authorities in Elkader have turned the incident over to the Federal Aviation Administration, and the crash in still under investigation. The Elkader airport is located at 21193 Grape Road in Elkader, Iowa.
