Skid Row Set To Rock Davenport Tonight
The boys from New Jersey have arrived in Davenport!
The plane carrying Skid Row came in late last night and the band is ready to rock. The "Skids" are headlining the Rhythm City Casino in Davenport tonight and tickets for the show are still available.
Slaughter is set to open the night making this a double shot of old school "80's Hair Metal" at its best! Doors will open at 7 and Mark, Dana and the gang from Slaughter will get started at 8 p.m.
I've seen Skid row about a dozen times in the last 25 years. My favorite show was about 7 years ago when the band headlined the Whiskey in Los Angeles. I was in town for business and was pumped when I found out the fellas were playing such a legendary venue.
To see Skid Row in such an intimate setting was super cool and they kicked ass! It sounds like tonight will also have that same vibe and can't wait for the show. Special thanks to Rhythm City for keeping metal alive here in the great state of Iowa!
If you ask me, Slaughter is pretty much co-headlining tonight's concert. Expect the band to rely on a steady dose of hits from their albums "Stick it to Ya" and the "Wild Life."
Even after all these years, lead singer Mark Slaughter can still nail all of the high notes and the band sounds really tight. You can always expect a party when the boys from Vegas makes a Midwest appearance like the one tonight!
Like I said, tickets for the show are still available and can be purchased at this link. You can also get tickets at the door and play a little blackjack before you go in!
