You've heard Shinedown at full throttle with their current single "Cut the Cord," but the band is ready to flip the script a bit with their latest track, "Black Cadillac." The group just unleashed the audio for the track and you can hear it in the player above.

As you can hear, the song is a more soulful offering, with Brent Smith delivering a bit a swing in his vocals as they play out over a cool piano track. Eventually the groovy rocker gives way to larger instrumentation turning into a stomper of a song.

If you pre-order the band's upcoming album, Threat to Survival, on iTunes, you'll be able to download the track instantly. The iTunes pre-order can be found a this location. Meanwhile, Threat to Survival is also available in physical form in a variety of bundle options at the band's webstore.

In a recent interview with Full Metal Jackie, Smith stated, "I should tell everyone that in my opinion, it is the strongest Shinedown record that we’ve ever made. It is the biggest sounding record we’ve ever made."

Shinedown have a couple of shows later this month, but will kick off a major U.S. tour in October when they're joined by Breaking Benjamin and Sevendust. In addition, the group will be staging a Carnival of Madness trek for U.K. audiences in January and February to kick off 2016. See all of the band's tour dates here.
