The Iowa Hawkeyes won their seventh game in eight tries Monday night in Iowa City. Iowa's seniors all had memorable nights, but the above moment is what no one will forget anytime soon.

Iowa senior guard Jordan Bohannon scored 18 last night and fellow senior Connor McCaffery had 17, leading Iowa to an 82-61 win over Northwestern. Fellow senior Austin Ash, a team and crowd favorite his entire career, got in on the fun with a 3-pointer from Herky's beak, near mid-court. Iowa team manager Jack Devlin, a senior himself, was not to be outdone. *Note, Connor McCaffery could return next season.

Before we get to the shot last night, check out the video below. It begins with Jack making a half-court shot, for the first time, in October of 2019. The reaction is similar to last night. Jack's story is a very inspiring one. As Iowa coach Fran McCaffery says below, "This kid is special."

Before the game last night, Jack was on the court with the other seniors, receiving his own basketball, autographed by the team.

Then, in the second half... the moment. Jack got a chance for a half-court shot in front of more than 13,200 fans. What a moment it was.

His teammates reaction, again, shows just how much they love Jack Devlin.

Look at those faces and all that joy.

Congratulations, Jack, on so much more than that shot last night. Your story is an inspiring one that reminds us what is truly important in the game of life. It's not the wins and losses, but the people you meet along the way. That's where the true joy comes from.
