“Seinfeld” debuted 30 Years Ago Tonight

On July 5, 1989, NBC aired a show called "The Seinfeld Chronicles." The network wasn't sure if it was going to stick with the show, so they offered it to FOX, who declined.

Seinfeld continued on NBC and ran 9 seasons with 180 episodes.
