Sports Fan’s Delight to Open First Eastern Iowa Location

A store that has more than 150 locations in 16 states is about to open in eastern Iowa. Sports fans will be overjoyed.

As a big St. Louis Cardinals fan almost my entire life, I've been bitten by ballpark prices on apparel many times over the years. Several years ago, I started seeing people asking online about a place to get good products at better prices. One name seemed to appear quite a bit and a couple of years ago, I finally paid one of the stores a visit. I wasn't disappointed.

After 35 years in business, the store that "specializes in collegiate and professional sportswear from local teams" is coming to eastern Iowa. Get ready for Rally House, in the former Tuesday Morning store, near PetSmart, at Coral Ridge Mall in Coralville.

Rally House will be a new spot to pick up Iowa and Iowa State gear.

You can also expect Rally  House to sell UNI and Drake apparel as well, along with merchandise from area professional teams. A location in West Des Moines says they have "MLB teams including the White Sox, Brewers, Twins, Cubs, Cardinals, and Royals... NFL gear with Chiefs, Bears, Packers and Vikings apparel and merch!"

Apparel brands at Rally House include Nike, New Era, Adidas, and Mitchel & Ness. Their stores also sell home decor, gifts, and other merchandise.

Coral Ridge Mall Senior General Manager Monica Hiles tells me Rally House is hoping to open the new Coralville location in the first part of August. It will be the company's sixth store in Iowa. There are currently locations in Ames, Clive, Council Bluffs, and West Des Moines (2).
