According to KCRG via the Associated Press, "Officials say two people aboard a plane were killed when it crashed near an airport in rural Illinois."

The details were provided to the Associated Press from the Warren County Sheriff's Department. Their report said the crash happened Sunday afternoon at 11 a.m. The incident happened 60 miles northwest of Peoria, Illinois.

When the authorities arrived on the scene, the plane was on fire. Emergency crews were able to put out the flames, but it was too late.

There were two people in the plane that died from the crash. Thankfully, nobody on the ground was injured, and there are no other injuries to report at this time.
