The city of West Branch was alive with activity this weekend. From the 30th annual Hoover Ball competition to other activities, the birthplace of President Herbert Hoover was a busy place! If you've never been to the Hoover Museum or it it's just been awhile, you owe it to yourself to get there and learn more about Iowa's only President.

Over the weekend, a new statue of Hoover was unveiled. The life size bronze statue features Hoover sitting on a park bench. You can find it outside of Hoover Elementary School in West Branch.

So the next time you're in West Branch make sure and check out the Hoover Museum and Presidential Library, and maybe slide up next to the President for a quick selfie too!
