New Cedar Rapids Soap Store Has Handmade Soaps, Bath Bombs & More

A cool new store is opening soon in Cedar Rapids!

If you're looking for handmade soaps, colorful bath bombs, and foaming hand soaps, there's a good chance you're going to love Buff City Soap! The new store is opening soon at 2300 Edgewood Rd SW in Cedar Rapids near Westdale.

If you've never heard of Buff City Soap, it's a popular company with locations all over the United States, including several in Iowa. Stores can be found in Waukee, Johnston, and Ankeny, with another location in Cedar Falls coming soon. The official website reads:

"We're on a mission to create handmade products that are free of harsh ingredients and full of nourishing plant-based goodness. We take tremendous pride in handcrafting each and every bar of soap in our Soap Makery. Each one is truly unique. 1 of 1. Just like you!"

In addition to colorful, swirly, handmade soaps in scents like Unicorn, Island Nectar, Sour Candies, and 99 Pomlems, Buff City Soap also offers a ton of other products including laundry soap, foaming hand soap, bath bombs and "truffles," Epsom salts, body scrubs and butters, and shower "fizzies." They even have shaving bars and stuff for beard care, plus seasonal soaps! The fall line includes Cinnamon Swirl, Fall for You, and, of course, Pumpkin Spice Latte.
