Murder Suspect Drew Wagner Turns Himself In
CBS2 News reports that murder suspect Drew Wagner turned himself into authorities Friday night around 11 p.m. Wagner is wanted in the murder of Chris Bagley who went missing December 14, 2018.
On Friday morning, charges against Wagner were announced during a hearing for Drew Blahnik, the first person announced as being indicted by a grand jury on first-degree murder charges of Chris Bagley, among other counts.
CBS2 News reports Wagner faces those same charges. Investigators said Chris Bagley's remains were found February 28, buried outside a home on Soutter Ave. SE in Cedar Rapids. Court records showed Wagner lived at the home.
Investigators also testified Wagner held Bagley down while Blahnik stabbed him to death,allegedly taking place at a mobile home on Mount Vernon Road owned by Paul Hoff.
The Linn County Attorney told CBS2 News that Paul Hoff has also been indicted by the Linn County Grand Jury, and is accused of obstructing prosecution and abuse of a corpse.
