MercyCare Moves Respiratory Clinic From Hiawatha To Marion

Following the step taken by UnityPoint Westside Urgent Care in Cedar Rapids and Waterloo's UnityPoint Urgent Care Clinic at 1731 West Ridgeway Avenue, a Marion clinic is temporarily transforming into a facility exclusive to treat respiratory issues. It will help maximize the availability of Personal Protective Equipment and make sure all patients with symptoms of Coronavirus can get better care and attention.

A Mercy press release reports that the clinic, located at 3701 Katz Dr. (shifting from Hiawatha Urgent Care Clinic) will be open from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends. This clinic can be contacted at (319) 373-3022 and will ONLY be used to see patients seeking care for respiratory and potential COVID-19 symptoms.

Imaging and testing for COVID-19 will be available at the clinic. More complex cases should be directed to Mercy Emergency Department at (319)398-6037.
