Are we still doing #SquadGoals? Because if so, I think I’ve found mine. Earlier today, Mission: Impossible 6 director Christopher McQuarrie posted a photo of himself (via Collider) hanging out with series stalwart Tom Cruise and dashing newcomer Henry Cavill against the Eiffel Tower, raising the bar for family vacation photos everywhere. If I worked in the photo department at the local Walgreens and saw this in someone’s film roll, I would put a sign up on the door that said “No More Eiffel Tower Photos” for everyone to see. What’s the point? They’ll never be this cool.

Unless you follow McQuarrie on Instagram  —  and really, you probably should  —  you might’ve also missed this photo of Rebecca Ferguson’s returning character Ilsa Faust rocking a pinstriped suit:

These photos come on the heels of last week’s batch of set photos, which featured an oh-so nimble Cruise dangling above the streets of Paris like it was no big deal. Now, these photos are great, don’t get me wrong, but there’s also a lot about this movie we don’t yet know, including who Cavill will be playing (some sort of Jeremy Renner replacement?) or how Ferguson’s character figured into the latest movie. If McQuarrie is in a sharing mood, hopefully he’ll find time to share the official synopsis or a few plot details sometime soon. In the meantime, however, we’ll content ourselves with some of the coolest actors in Hollywood doing some pretty cool things. Mission: Impossible 6 has already shot to the top of my list of best action movies of 2018 and we’re barely halfway through April.

In addition to the three mentioned above, Mission: Impossible 6 will also bring back Alec Baldwin and  —  based on the photos his official social media accounts keep sharing  —  Simon Pegg. The film is set to hit theaters on July 27, 2018.
