For Iowans, it looks like travel to Chicago on the Megabus is kaput.

According to CBS2 News, the king-sized, double-decker road warrior that shuttled Iowans to and from the Windy City is no longer offering services in the state of Iowa.

The bus service had stops in Coralville, Davenport, and Des Moines but announced their plans to make changes in their routing last November.

I'm not a fan of bus or train travel over long distances. I'd rather drive myself or fly to my destination. But for some people the Megabus ticket made sense for a quick trip into Chicago. Sorry to report it is no longer in service.
