Perhaps the warm weather has something to do with all of the recent criminal activity in Eastern Iowa.

According to CBS2, "One man is behind bars after a stabbing sent another man to the hospital Sunday evening in Marion."

The incident happened at 1301 6th Street, around 7:44 p.m. This is where officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a man that had a stab wound to the back of his arm.

Police arrested a suspect, 32-year-old Quincy Franklin. He is now being held at the Linn County Jail on charges of felony willful injury causing bodily injury. Police are still investigating the incident and we will keep you posted on any new details.

The story indicated the victim was taken to a local hospital, but is not facing life threatening injuries.
