Marion Man Injured In Car Crash

According to KWWL, "A driver is in the hospital after a single-vehicle accident."

The crash happened Saturday night around 10:20 at 7611 Mt. Vernon Road. That's where officers found 57-year-old Raymond Dochterman of Marion. He was behind the wheel of his vehicle that was in the lawn of a local resident.

The KWWL story says the vehicle was going west on Mt Vernon Road when it left the roadway. The vehicle then drove down a ditch and ended up in somebody's front yard. First responders transported Dochterman to St. Luke's Hospital. At this time it appears his injuries are non-life threatening.

It sounds like the driver was suffering a medical issue that may have caused this accident. He was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
