An apartment complex fire in Cedar Rapids made for a busy Friday afternoon for area firefighters.
According to Iowa's News Now the Cedar Rapids Fire Department was first alerted to the fire at 2:50 p.m. Friday afternoon. The call for alarm was to the Glenbrook Apartments at 4839 1st Avenue SW.
Iowa's News Now coverage of the blaze reported on scene that the blaze charred an entire side of one building and caused what appeared to be major damage to the building and roof.
at least two of the apartments were occupied when the fire broke out, but luckily, no injuries have been reported at this time.
