Iowa State Football is back. Back in the win column for the third straight week and back in the Top 25 College Football rankings.

Matt Campbell's Cyclones won at Texas Tech on Saturday, 34-24. Iowa State improves to 5-2 overall, with a 3-1 record in Big 12 play. They are among the ranked again for the first time since this preseason. ISU sits at number 23 in the latest AP Top 25 poll. They remain unranked in the USA Today Coaches Poll. Still, with two straight road wins and a home game this weekend the Cyclones are trending in the right direction!

Meanwhile, the Iowa Hawkeyes righted the ship on Saturday against Purdue. Iowa topped the Boilermakers 26-20 to snap a two-game losing streak and improve to 5-2 overall, 2-2 in the Big Ten. That was good enough to move the Hawkeyes up in both polls. They sit at number 20 in the new AP Top 25 Poll, and at number 19 in the USA Today Coaches poll. The Hawkeyes are back on the road this weekend at Northwestern.
