After a couple of weeks of adjusted hours, Lindale Mall in Cedar Rapids has decided to close its doors completely. The temporary closure is due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Lindale Mall posted the announcement on their Facebook page last night. It reads:

"The safety of our guests, retailers, and employees is our top priority. We’ll be temporarily closed until further notice and will post updates to our social media pages and stories. Please follow along for more information. Lindale Mall brings people together, and we will continue to do so once we are past this current situation."

There is no scheduled reopening date yet, but you can keep up with news from Lindale on the official Facebook page HERE.

As of right now, Coral Ridge Mall in Coralville is still open, but some stores within the mall are temporarily closed. Coral Ridge is open from noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can read their full coronavirus update HERE.
