Lecturer At Iowa State Accussed Of Teaching While Drunk
According to the Des Moines Register, "An Iowa State University lecturer was arrested Thursday morning for public intoxication."
Campus police were called to the classroom of 56-year-old Gordon Night. When they arrived, they smelled alcohol on his breath and were concerned about his behavior. Night refused to take a breath test. He was arrested and charged with public intoxication.
This isn't Knight's first problem with alcohol. According to Iowa online court records, this is his third alcohol-related arrest in the past year.
