Dubuque's Kennedy Mall Gives Update on HomeGoods Opening

Not even a week removed from the Christmas holiday, Dubuque's premier shopping center is letting shoppers know that multiple big developments are in the works.

The last 12 months have been fruitful for Dubuque's Kennedy Mall. A new clothing store opened at the tail-end of 2022, the ever-popular Books-a-Million got a new location inside the mall, and a store catering to Japanese/anime culture just opened last week. This week, however, Kennedy Mall took to Facebook to give shoppers an update about a new retailer coming to the mall.

Earlier this year, Kennedy Mall announced that HomeGoods would be opening within the calendar year. It was confirmed by Kennedy Mall spokesperson Joe Bell via Telegraph Herald that the HomeGoods store would occupy a 24,217 square foot space next to HuHot Mongolian Grill (following Books-a-Million's relocation).

Now, Kennedy Mall is confirming more progress is being made on the forthcoming HomeGoods store in Dubuque:

We have had a lot of people reaching out about HomeGoods, we checked with the guys today & everything is still on schedule for opening March 2024.

They will be working on the front exterior & putting up the sign tentatively next week, during that time the lanes closest to the mall between HuHot & Mining Co will be CLOSED. We will keep you updated as things progress! - per Kennedy Mall's Facebook page

But a HomeGoods update is not the only thing Kennedy Mall is teasing. A few days ago, they also teased some other additional developments that will be coming to the mall very soon:
