Judas Priest To Play Minneapolis
Judas Priest will be performing just 4 hours north of us on Monday, April 2nd. The show is happening at a venue called the Armory, in downtown Minneapolis. Sharing the stage with J.P. that night will be Saxon and Black Star Riders.
Judas Priest is one of the bands I would recommend seeing live "before it's too late." You never know, this could be the last tour for the English heavy metal band that was formed in 1969.
Last week, we found out that longtime Judas Priest guitarist Glenn Tipton stepped back from touring due to Parkinson's disease. Tipton joins Neil Diamond, as the second artist to recently announce retiring from touring because of the disease.
If you live in Eastern Iowa, Minneapolis is a quick trip and a great city to see a concert. The Armory is located in the downtown area, there are plenty of great hotels that you can find within walking distance to the venue.
