Despite the tough season for Iowa men's basketball, there certainly have been some bright spots. The continued high level of play of Jordan Bohannon being one of them. The sophomore point guard has several impressive streaks going, including closing in on an all-time great school record.

Bohannon had six 3 point shots go in during Iowa's road loss to Nebraska this weekend. That marks the 5th straight road game in which he's made at least 5 three-point shots. But it's his second streak that could get the most attention.

In 1993, Chris Street set the Iowa all-time record for consecutive free throws made at 34. On January 16th, 1993 Street went 2 for 2 during Iowa's close loss at Duke. He never took another shot. Street was killed in an auto accident three days later. Bohannon went 2 for 2 Saturday at Nebraska to raise his steak to 26 in a row. Will Bohannon break Street's record that has stood for 25 years? It's something to keep track of during Iowa's upcoming schedule.

Iowa hosts Minnesota on Tuesday in Iowa City.
