According to CBS2, "John Deere Dubuque Works will be laying be laying off 159 employees at the end of the month."

The employees learned the about the layoffs on Monday, April 27th. They were all told the effective layoff date would be Monday, June 1st. The CBS story mentioned this is an "indefinite layoff."

Just a few months ago, Deere announced 105 layoffs at the factory. Those layoff will start this week on Monday, May 4th.

The plant will also be doing a two-week production shutdown that will start on Wednesday, May 6th. John Deere Dubuque Works and John Deere Davenport will both be a part of the two week shutdown.
