Jam or Chill at this “Rock and Roll Suite” in Boone [PHOTOS]
"Come as You Are" or "Let it Be" when you stay in a retro-themed "Rock n Roll Suite" in Boone. The space rents out for $66 a night and was recently restored while maintaining its old-school rockstar feel.
The property is in a historic building on the North end of downtown Boone. If you're staying in this suite, rock and roll is clearly your thing so the proximity to a railroad track may not bother you in the slightest, but be aware it's there just in case it does.
The suite is on the third floor of the building. It has a full kitchen, a living area complete with a luxury king bed, love seat, dresser, comfy chair, and big windows. A table with stools serves as a dinette and work area. Just off the living area is a dressing room with an armoire that has huge full-length mirrors (perfect to watch yourself perfect your air guitar skills), a closet, and a full bath.
The house has 1 bedroom, 1 bed, and one bath which is a tight squeeze for more than a couple of guests but isn't that how they lived back in the 70s, man? If you're bringing the band by, it comes with 2-hour parking on the north side of the building and is a mile and a half away from free public parking. Did I mention the "Beatles kitchen" and "Kurt Cobain room"? Whip up those pizzas in the modern stove and microwave and the apartment-sized fridge has plenty of room for cold beverages.
