Is it "pop" or "soda"?  Well according to a study...yes they did a study on it...Western Wisconsin calls it "pop".  Eastern Wisconsin calls it "soda".  So I guess people in Central Wisconsin call it "soda pop".

Whatever you call it, the love affair with the sweet bubbles has been an American tradition for over the last century.  But while some have stayed strong to become billion-dollar companies, others are just memories of a fizzy past.

Before you look at all the pops you can no longer find, here are the ones you can find everywhere.  These are the top 10 most popular pops in America

10 - 7-Up (Just under $1 billion)
9 - Sunkist
8 - Sierra Mist
7 - Fanta
6 - Sprite
5 - Mountain Dew
4 - Dr. Pepper
3 - Pepsi
2 - Diet Coke
1 - Coca-Cola ($36.5 billion)

That's a lot of pop.  According to the CDC, 63% of Americans drink a "sugar-sweetened beverage" each day.  That might not officially qualify as pop in our world, but in the CDC it does.  But the real question is, how much of that pop is being used as a mixer for an adult beverage?

So here we are, with those pops...or sodas...or if you moved from the deep south and are now living in Wisconsin, cokes, dominating what you get at your home or restaurant.

Maybe things would be better if some of these below had survived to give us more options.  Of course, some fast food places have the "make your own flavor"...so really now the possibilities are unlimited!
