Willie Ray's Q Shack is run by Willie Ray Fairley. His Mississippi flair and southern style has become a Cedar Rapids staple over the past few years.

The business offers catering and even has a food truck. Willie has a location at 288 Blairs Ferry Road NE, but customers can't sit down and eat.

It looks like Willie Ray's is testing out a new sit-down location!

The news came out on Friday, June 9th from the business's Facebook page. They shared that they would be doing a "test run" that day to see how smooth their operation can be.

Willie Ray's knows they are not doing things in a standard sort of way and the team is celebrating that!

"We don’t believe in doing traditional things," Willie Ray Farley shared in a statement on social media. "...that’s why you may think we're all over the place."

Customers were able to dine in and check out the place. Willie Ray shared that while the layout is not complete just yet, they "will still be open!"

This new eatery is located at 266 Blair Ferry Road NE which is less than a mile away from the original location.

There is no word on just when a traditional sit-down location will open for Willie Ray's Q Shack, but we will keep you updated when the news comes out.

Roseanne Barr Abandoned Iowa Mansion in Eldon, IA

I fell into a rabbit hole when I found out that Roseanne Barr almost had a mansion in Iowa. After seeing the current state of the property on Facebook, I was amazed that such an extravagant project could be so quickly overtaken by nature. Only two hours away from Waterloo, this abandoned field could have hosted some of the coolest and elite Hollywood parties in the Midwest. The current photos were taken by Gable Fry on a recent trip he took.

Snake Alley in Burlington, IA

Burlington, IA is just one hundred and fifty miles away from Waterloo and a hundred miles away from Cedar Rapids is one of the most see attractions for tourists. Ripley's Believe It or Not! voted Snake Alley as the #1 Odd Spot in America.
