Waterloo’s Iowa Woo to Return for Exciting Second Season in 2025

In 2024, the Cedar Valley welcomed a new sports team to the area.
The Iowa Woo, an arena league football team, played its first season in the heart of Waterloo. All of the team's home games were played at the Hippodrome at the National Cattle Congress.
During the regular season, the team ended things with a 1-7 record. The Iowa Woo made it to the championship matchup but fell to Duluth.
Iowa Woo Returns For the 2025 Season
On the team's social media account, Iowa Woo officials confirmed that they would be back for a second season as the league continues to expand.
The Iowa Woo's 2025 arena football season is set to begin on May 30th, 2025.
There will be eight regular season games, with four at home and four away. In addition to the founding four teams that helped kick off the inaugural season, there will be two additional expansion teams, the Hot Springs Wiseguys and Eau Claire.
