All anyone can do when they wake up every day is put their best foot forward. You can't really expect much more than that from anyone. As long as they are trying their best, what more can you ask from someone?

My fiance, Kori and I will be getting married this September. We've been together for 7 years, all of which have been challenging and rewarding at the same time. We have our ups and downs just like any other relationship but yesterday (June-6) was a bit of a downer...I made a pretty big mistake and I'd just like to come out and say I'm sorry and it will never happen again.

I should've thought before I acted but I didn't. I'm not even sure how it happened. When I got home from work yesterday, I knew I had to come clean. She's warned me about doing this once before and somehow, I slipped up.

Yesterday, when I got home, I had to confess to my fiance Kori, who I love very much, that I had forgotten to bring home "one of our good bowls" from work.

I have never felt more shameful in my life. This is the second time, in a year and a half, that I've forgotten to bring home a bowl from work. I normally eat at my work desk, wash out the bowl when I'm done, and then put it in my backpack right away, just to avoid leaving them here. For some reason...I forgot yesterday.

Kori, I am sorry. I'll try my best to never leave a bowl or glass Tupperware at work again. I already put the one I used today in my pack back, so it is guaranteed to make it home and in the dishwasher.

I think UFC fighter Conor McGregor has some wise words of wisdom for a situation like this...

We all have a movie that no matter how many times we've seen it, we'll still sit down and watch it.
